MMU CLS corridor night, July 2007

I'm finally in U! boring long holidays had finished and new study life has begun.
Played with KK the drummer, Tham the bassist, Leroy the guitarist, Eugene and Lynn the vocals.

We played 3 chinese songs: mayday - zhong jie gu dan, zhang zheng yue - ai wo bie zou, and zhang zheng yue - zhi you. Because this is the chinese language society thingy.

this is another song we played last. Yellowcard - only one.

story:
alot of chinese language people dunno about band. they dunno how will we sound like.
so at 1st they dont rent amps for us cause they dont wanna come out budget.
They said perhaps wanna cancel this. LAST MINUTE.
can't take this. We wanna show them what is a BAND.
so we paid ourselves for the sound system's money. (1st time i heard we need to pay for the sound system even we are HELPING them to perform.) we used so much money for jamming and practising, for this sake.

okay, got the amps. so we were sound checking. and..

My bassist said when he's going into the CLC lecture hall after he went toilet, he heard a girl saying to her friend,"this band is such a mess,"
we were sound checking that time. of course we are playing things to hear our own instrument sound. it's not time to perform yet.

this girl also perform in this cls corridor thingy, but she's only
singing with a guy playing keyboard, soft chinese song.

the event started.we are the 1st to performed.

I'm happy everyone was enjoying it and I'm happy to hear people cheering and shouting and clapping and screaming. sending messages through the chemistry and co operation of the band.

"Good Job!"

now the people in the society know what is a band.

and the girl just now, she suddenly tell her friends our show is not bad when her friends asking her about it.



writing this long, conclusion that I wanna say is people just love to judge before they know anything.
